Privacy Notice

Version: September 2026. This notice explains how Jetstream Powerwash uses personal information from enquiries, bookings and this website.

Who is responsible for your information

Jetstream Powerwash is operated by Jack Asbury, trading as Jetstream Powerwash. Jack Asbury is responsible for your personal information (the "controller"). Contact: info@jetstreampowerwash.co.uk or 07378 533 085.

What we collect

  • Quote and enquiry forms: your name, contact number, postcode, email address (if you give one), the service and answers you choose, any notes, up to four photographs if you upload them, and the page of our website you used.
  • Messages: anything you send us by phone, text, WhatsApp or email, including photographs.
  • Technical information: our website host and form provider receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details, and may keep it with form submissions.
  • If you book us: your address, the agreed job, dates, payments and communications about the work, and any before-and-after photographs we take for our records.

Photographs may show your property and its surroundings. Please avoid including people or vehicle number plates where you can.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

  • To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote, which is necessary to take steps at your request before a contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
  • To carry out and manage the work, including bookings, invoicing and payments (contract, Article 6(1)(b)), and to keep the accounting and tax records the law requires (legal obligation, Article 6(1)(c)).
  • To keep our website secure and reduce spam, and to keep quality records of our work and deal with any query or complaint (legitimate interests, Article 6(1)(f)).

The enquiry form does not sign you up to marketing. We will only use identifiable photographs of your property in our marketing, on our website or social media, with your permission (consent, Article 6(1)(a)). You can say no, or withdraw permission at any time, without affecting the work or the price. We need contact details to reply. Information about the location and work helps us prepare a quote, and we may ask for more details before quoting.

Who we share it with

  • Netlify, which hosts this website and handles the quote forms, including uploaded photographs. Netlify also uses a spam-filtering service (Akismet).
  • Zoho, which provides our business email, and WhatsApp (Meta) if you contact us that way.
  • Our accountant or other professional advisers, where needed for our business records.

We do not sell your information. Some of these providers, including Netlify, are based in the US or process data outside the UK. Netlify states that it relies on standard contractual clauses and is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension. Links to social and review sites take you to services with their own privacy notices.

How long we keep it

We review our records and delete information that has passed these periods by hand. Deletion is not automatic, so information may be held a little longer than the period shown until our next review. If a complaint, a claim or a legal requirement means we need to keep something longer, we keep only what is needed. You can also ask us to delete your information sooner (see your rights below).

Your rights and how to complain

You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it or restrict how we use it, object to us using it on the basis of legitimate interests, ask for it in a portable format, and withdraw consent where we rely on it. To do any of these, contact us at info@jetstreampowerwash.co.uk or on 07378 533 085.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
